The Student Experience and Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all undergraduate students feel included, supported, and connected throughout their journey.
As Manager, you will lead a team of Student Experience Officers, providing strategic and operational leadership and direction. You will bring insight from the higher education sector and ensure high levels of expertise in student engagement and support, helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.
It is essential that our ideal candidate will bring experience from a higher education setting in a role focused on supporting and enhancing the student experience. We place strong value on inclusive approaches to student learning and development, and on embedding the student voice in everything we do, so expertise in these areas are sought.
As the Manager of a busy and dynamic team, you will need to demonstrate confident leadership and the interpersonal skills to influence, motivate, and support others. Just as importantly, you will bring high levels of empathy and understanding, ensuring that both students and colleagues feel heard, valued, and supported.
About you:
- You will have a strong understanding of university quality assurance policies and understand the significance of them.
- Be culturally sensitive, with experience supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Demonstrate excellent working knowledge and application of IT and digital technologies, including a proven ability to manipulate, analyse, and present data.
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Effectively organise a busy workload and prioritise tasks to achieve positive outcomes.
- Be innovative and creative in your thinking, with a keenness to develop ideas into initiatives that continually enhance the student experience.

This role is offered on a full-time (36.5 hours per week), permanent basis.
