South London Partnership are looking for an experienced ccommunications and engagement Lead you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the recruitment and retention in the social care sector, supporting underrepresented groups by engaging, raising the profile, and promoting access into good jobs, training and career opportunities. You will shape, measure and drive the success of the SWL Social Care Workforce projects to create maximum opportunities for the future of South West London

 

As a Communications and Engagement Lead you will lead high quality, insight-led communications and engagement that is measurable, impactful and help ensure high quality social care services in south west London. 

You will actively build relationships across SWL work closely with partner agencies who can help bring together special interest groups to work together on new ways to improve the workforce pressures in South West London

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for multi-channel communication and marketing campaigns, media engagement, conference, and event planning to raise the profile of jobs and careers in the social care sector 
  • Identifying and delivering opportunities whilst proactively communicating key information on the Academy Hub through partner communication activities  
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of engagement with care providers/employers, care workforce and social care service users  
  • Strengthening and building networks 

 

South London Partnership (SLP) is a small and dynamic, close-knit team, working across the 5 boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Sutton. The SLP team focuses on areas where collaboration leads to increased influence, increased powers and funding and better delivery of the services our residents need.
