The Role
Job title: Brand Manager – Fixed 12 Month Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: Hybrid (UK- based remote working with occasional travel required to Manchester, Derby, and other store locations across the UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
Reporting to: Marketing Director
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are recruiting for a 12 month maternity cover to lead our brand function within the marketing team. As the Brand Manager, you will report directly into the Marketing Director to plan, deliver and report on above the line and out of home brand awareness / consideration driving marketing activity. Working closely with the Head of Paid Media to bring digital activations to life as well as working with our media planning agency. You will also help facilitate store promotions and manage a marketing executive.
What will you be getting up to?
- Work with the marketing team, design teams, store teams and the wider organisation to ensure the brand is brought to life effectively.
- In particular align with the design team and marketing channel owners to ensure brand guidelines are in place and adhered to.
- Develop national and store specific brand awareness and consideration driving plans, working closely with the Marketing Director, Head of Paid Media and our media agency of record.
- Make budget and channel recommendations and propose testing of new channels to ensure our efficiency and effectiveness are market leading.
- Work with the agency and internal teams to deploy the media and monitor its effectiveness.
- Working closely with the Marketing Director and Head of Design to develop brand creative across a range of channels to ensure media executions resonate with our target audiences. Using internal and agency support where relevant.
- Help manage and plan store launches and specific store promotions, working with the rest of the marketing team to cover all channel activity.
- Own reporting of wider brand performance metrics, using brand tracking surveys, in channel panel reporting and share of search metrics.
- Management of an executive to help deliver on the scope of the role, with their progression and development key as an entry level role. Work closely with the Heads in the marketing team to develop training plans across all key channels.
What do we need from you?
We’re seeking a dynamic marketing professional with at least five years’ experience driving brand awareness and leading store marketing campaigns, preferably across regional or national platforms.
