Your responsibilities
- Responsible for performing chemical and/or physical testing on all in-process, finished, validation, and R&D products according to applicable procedures while following all relevant laboratory TM’s, SOP’s, etc
- Samples and analyzes incoming raw materials in accordance with standard methods and specifications, properly records results and renders a decision concerning acceptability and initiates appropriate paperwork to accept or reject material.
- Evaluates raw chemicals, line washout samples and manufactured bulk records results. Issues appropriate paperwork to accept or reject product.
- Maintains accurate and updated summary records for each material analyzed.
- Responsible for raw materials and consumer finished product stability tests as assigned by Department Manager.
- Prepares, dates and standardizes laboratory reagents as assigned.
- Works with and assists Processing Teams as a Quality Assurance resource to give them clarification, direction and help with issues/problems.
- Reports inconsistencies in specification, B.O.M. or test methods, including where material test results do not meet specification.
This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.
The experience we're looking for
- B.S. degree in a science field required, preferably Chemistry.
- 2+ years’ experience in an analytical laboratory of an industrial and/or manufacturing plant environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand Metric system and be able to convert units and to read, interpret and execute written procedures and accurately complete paperwork/documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Lab instruments such as GC, NIR, UV/VIS, HPLC etc
- Able to handle chemicals within permissible level.
- Demonstrated strong time management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and/or employees and to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer.

Salary Range
USD $83,000.00 – $125,000.00
Pay Transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
