Role responsibilities
This role ensures financial compliance, optimises financial processes, and supports strategic governance. Working with the D365 solution lead, the individual will enhance and integrate financial systems and governance frameworks to meet TfW’s objectives. The role leads a global process owner (GPO) responsible for the process catalogue and Business-As-Usual (BAU) owners. Key duties include managing the end-to-end process lifecycle, setting governance strategy, standardising processes, driving continuous improvement, and serving as the main contact for process-related matters. The GPO maintains the process catalogue to ensure organisational consistency and clarity.
- Develop and own the finance transformation vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with the Digital Finance & Governance lead, ensuring the finance function evolves in direct alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Maintain and update the Finance & Governance Service Delivery model and service catalogue by collaborating with the Finance leadership team, ensuring consistency and standardisation across the function to support efficient operations.
- Define and implement the global process vision and strategy by aligning end-to-end processes with company goals, ensuring clear ownership and direction for ongoing process optimisation.
- Oversee the process catalogue by ensuring its accuracy, currency, and accessibility for all stakeholders, thereby supporting transparency and effective process management.
- Drive process standardisation by identifying and eliminating non-value-adding variations, establishing consistent best practices across all business units to enhance efficiency and quality.
Who we’re looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting
- Certified Business Process Management (BPM) Professional
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale process transformation, standardisation, financial governance, controls and continuous improvement initiatives in a complex, global environment
- Proven ability to analyse, develop, and implement business processes and best practice frameworks, ensuring efficient and effective financial and governance operations aligned with organisational goals.
- High level of proficiency in financial management, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
