The Role

As Registered Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—leading a skilled team, ensuring regulatory excellence, and championing the wellbeing of every child in our care. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes and maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations and Salutem’s values
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team
  • Oversee operational, financial, and quality assurance processes
  • Promote trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support
  • Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the local community

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
