About the role 

Best Start In Life Practitioner – Infant Feeding – 12 month fixed term contract 


We are seeking 2 compassionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team, with a specialist focus on infant feeding. These roles are vital in supporting families and carers to establish healthy feeding practices during the crucial early stages of child development. You will work within a supportive team environment to promote best practices in infant nutrition, breastfeeding, and responsive feeding, ensuring every child gets the best start in life.

There are 2 roles, one based at Kettering Family Hub and one at Wellingborough Family Hub, the role will also require travel across North Northamptonshire

 

About you 

You will be a  knowledgeable practitioner with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent, and with an interest in supporting infant feeding. Your experience working with babies and families will be complemented by a sound understanding of current guidance around infant feeding and weaning. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to build trusting relationships with parents and carers, and work collaboratively with colleagues and health professionals. Your empathetic nature, combined with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, will make you a valued member of our team.
