We’re building products that matter, and we’re looking for someone who can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to our delivery. As a Product Delivery Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our software squads, making sure great ideas become real-world solutions. This isn’t just about keeping projects on track; it’s about shaping how we deliver, driving collaboration, and helping teams work smarter to get things into users’ hands faster.

If you enjoy solving complex delivery challenges, coordinating across technical and business teams, and seeing your efforts directly impact product success, this role gives you the platform to do just that.

What will the role involve?

Delivery & Execution

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of product changes across multiple squads.
  • Shaping and supporting cycle planning, helping teams prioritise the right work at the right time.
  • Building clear, achievable delivery plans while tracking dependencies, risks, and progress.
  • Championing continuous improvement to make delivery faster, smoother, and more scalable.
  • Partnering with engineering, product, and design to ensure timely, low-friction releases.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Be the go-to link between business, product, and engineering teams.
  • Keeping leadership updated with transparent progress reports and risk assessments.
  • Establishing clear communication channels across squads, removing silos and building alignment.

Agile & Cross-Squad Coordination

  • Creating an environment where squads can work together seamlessly towards shared goals.
  • Supporting teams in prioritising and sequencing work across multiple delivery streams.
  • Stepping in to remove blockers and resolve delivery conflicts quickly.

Risk & Dependency Management

  • Proactively identifying risks and dependencies, finding solutions before they become issues.
  • Overseeing change management processes to ensure smooth product rollouts.
  • Ensuring that squads have the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Product Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role in software delivery.
  • Strong grounding in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall (Prince2) methodologies, ideally with relevant certifications.
  • Excellent understanding of product development life cycles and large-scale delivery.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across multiple squads or teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management – you know how to balance business priorities with technical realities.
  • A problem-solver who thrives on navigating complexity.
  • Skilled in risk management, dependency mapping, and roadmap planning.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, able to influence at all levels.

Nice-to-have

  • SaaS, FinTech, or enterprise software experience.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, or technical architecture.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other agile delivery tools.

Don’t meet every single requirement? That’s okay, and you aren’t alone! Research shows that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet all the criteria. At SBS, we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where everyone feels they belong. So if this role excites you and you’re eager to grow, we’d love to hear from you – even if your experience doesn’t tick every box just yet, send in your application!
