Main Responsibilities

As the Education Senior Credit and Collections Advisor within this team, your day-to-day duties will involve the following:
- Collaborating with senior management and stakeholders identifying risks and areas for improvement thinking logically and strategically which may impact the wider business.
- Mentoring and supporting junior stakeholders within the IRIS Credit Control team learning, training and developing.
- Monitoring the status of significant outstanding invoices to ensure this does not impact on the wider business through project delivery.
- Cultivating positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to streamline processes.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses
- Managing key accounts.
- Review and prepare debtor commentary for weekly calls with stakeholders.
- Mentoring and assisting all members of the Credit Control team.
- Review escalations/disputed accounts and negotiate to resolution
- Monitoring the status of large unpaid invoices to assist the company’s cash flow.
- Maintain accurate individual measurement and performance of the team’s statistics in line with team SLA’s.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience
|
- Significant experience working within a Credit Control department.
- Merger and acquisition experience
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel, e.g. VLOOKUP function, Pivot Tables.
- Experience in managing projects
