When we talk to people thinking about HR careers, they often tell us they’re:

  • Struggling to find a role that gives them real exposure, not just admin?

  • Keen to work with people and not afraid to pick up the phone to speak to candidates?

  • Excited by the idea of making work better for others, but unsure where to start?

Sound familiar? Thought so. Give me a minute more, this might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

The Role

This is an HR Graduate role with purpose. You’ll be right at the heart of the people function – supporting recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and HR operations. You’ll help bring great people into the business and make sure their experience once they’re here is just as positive.

You’ll provide:

Recruitment Support

  • Post and promote vacancies for front-line roles (e.g., Employment Advisors, Tutors, Employer Relationship Managers).

  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and proactive outreach.

  • Screen CVs, conduct professional telephone interviews, and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers.

  • Draft and update job descriptions, offers, and onboarding materials.

Pre-Employment & Onboarding

  • Prepare and issue employment contracts, offer letters, and pre-employment documentation (Right to Work, DBS, references).

  • Upload and maintain compliance records on HR systems.

  • Support onboarding by setting up new hires on systems, assigning training, and arranging ID badges and welcome materials.

HR Operations & Support

  • Manage employee queries and draft standard HR correspondence (probation outcomes, changes to terms, meeting invites).

  • Provide accurate note-taking for formal HR meetings and support ad hoc HR projects.

  • Maintain HR records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Employee Engagement & Offboarding

  • Update employee data across engagement and benefits platforms.

  • Support monthly HR administration tasks such as probation tracking and benefits reporting.

  • Assist with offboarding processes, ensuring documentation and system updates are completed smoothly.

You’ll be supported by experienced HR professionals, gaining mentorship and hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle — building a strong foundation for your HR career.

The Person

Let’s check a few things:

  • Do you have a degree in HR or a related field?

  • Do you have a solid understanding of UK Employment Law and experience applying it in the workplace?

  • Have you completed at least one year’s placement or practical experience in HR and/or recruitment?

  • Are you organised, detail-focused, and ready to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment?

  • Can you communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels?

  • Are you discreet with sensitive information and proud of your professionalism?

If you’re nodding along, this was written for you.

What’s in it for you?

  • Salary of £24,000

  • Mentorship and structured development in a supportive team.

  • Real exposure to HR operations, recruitment, and compliance.

  • Access to wellbeing tools (GP, counselling, Headspace).

  • Healthcare, lifestyle rewards, pension, and salary sacrifice options.

  • The chance to start your HR career in an organisation that lives its values every day.

Our Values

We live them. Every day.

Be Ambitious: Strive for growth — yours and ours.
Be Inspiring: Uplift and empower others.

So let’s finish with one last question:

If we could give you the chance to start your HR career surrounded by people who care about people —
is there any reason you wouldn’t apply today?
