About this job.
The Healthcare Resource Coordinator role is designed to deliver all retail locum resource requirements, ensuring a safe and efficient operation across Optical and Pharmacy departments.
Specialised area subject matter expert who will be the key link between placing third party resource in to Optical and Pharmacy to meet Asda’s requirement for locums – booking cover for 411 units.
What you’ll do.
The Healthcare resource coordinator will provide day to day retail rota support centrally to both locums and resident healthcare professionals. Driving cost savings through effective planning
Provide support to area managers in resolving operational people planning issues for professionals
Provide stores with the required third party resource needed to meet NHS Contractual Requirements. Locate a Locum SME
Deliver on smart efficiencies in the Optical and Pharmacy estate across all locum and resident cover planning
Escalate to the Healthcare resource manager any risks that are identified.
How you’ll do it.
Knowledge.
A basic knowledge of ASDA Opticians and Pharmacy.
Communicating and Influencing.
The Healthcare resource coordinator will need to communicate clearly with stores, field and central teams as well as locums.
Freedom to Think and Act.
This role is purely transactional with direct guidance coming from the relevant process guides and policies.
Confidence to challenge, escalate and influence at all levels
Ability to act quickly to solve problems
