Job Description

Portico are currently recruiting for an amazing opportunity to join our team as a Residential Cover Concierge, based at a high end residential building in London Bridge!

The role of the Concierge is to provide a friendly, courteous, and prompt welcome on arrival for all residents and visitors, anticipating any resident needs, and following up and ensuring that the residents expectations are met and, where possible, exceeded.

As the resident’s main point of contact, the successful candidate will manage a variety of tasks through to conclusion, handing over to the night/day team if they are not complete. The Concierge will get to know the residents, building strong professional relationships allowing them to anticipate their needs and stay a step ahead.

The Concierge will need to balance discretion with a visible presence, vigilance, and a friendly approach.

This is a cover role, dedicated to one property. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts, as per business needs including both days and nights.

Hours: 38.5 hours per week. 12 hour shifts, typically 4 on – 4 off.
Salary: £35,334 per annum



Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must have a “can do” attitude and a big, friendly smile. 
  • Applicants must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the phone and via email. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility are essential as you will need to perform a plethora of duties within this high-end residential operation. 
  • Your ability to engage with people on all levels to build rapport is a must have skill.
  • Concierge experience is essential, preferably within a high-end hotel or residential environment.
  • The ideal candidate will also hold an SIA licence, with CCTV operator training. 
  • Experience operating in a “built to rent property” is desirable.
