Assistant Merchandise Planner – Support Centre

Salary: Competitive + benefits package

We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Merchandise Planner to help us build customer-focused product ranges and support key projects that drive sales, profit, and stock efficiency. You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team where your insights and ideas will make a real impact.

At cardfactory, we believe in smart working. That means you’ll spend around two days a week at our Wakefield support centre, with the flexibility to work from home the rest of the time.

In this role, you’ll be reviewing trading performance, managing forecasts, raising purchase orders, and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to make sure our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time. You’ll also get involved in range building and performance analysis, helping shape the future of our product offering.

We’re looking for someone with experience in merchandising as an Assistant Merchandiser, Merch Admin, or Allocator – ideally in a fast-paced retail or fashion environment. You’ll need strong Excel skills and a knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage, a good understanding of stock management, and a sharp eye for detail. If you’re proactive, organised, and ready to grow, this could be the perfect fit.
