Asset Lead Manager – Across GTR Network
Reporting to the Asset Delivery Manager, the Asset Lead Manager supports the delivery of best-in-class engineering service quality across all GTR train fleets. You’ll take the lead on investigating and managing incidents of train vandalism, graffiti, window etching, and other anti-social behaviour, ensuring strong collaboration across internal teams, industry partners, and the British Transport Police (BTP).

What You’ll Do

Act as GTR’s expert for graffiti and vandalism analysis, incident review, CCTV evidence gathering, and data reporting.

Collaborate closely with Security & Policing, Customer Experience, Three Bridges ROC, BTP Graffiti team, Network Rail, and other TOCs.

Conduct proactive and reactive site visits to depots, stations, and sidings to address security, trespass, and vandalism issues.

Produce detailed reports with metrics, imagery, and trends, providing robust evidence packs to support BTP investigations.

Prepare timely graffiti and vandalism cost reports (MG11s, Impact Statements, etc.) and attend court as an expert witness when required.

Maintain and develop the GTR graffiti database, ensuring full and accurate recording of all incidents and crime reference numbers.

Work with Engineering and Customer Experience teams to deliver excellent service quality and passenger satisfaction.

Deputise for the Asset Delivery Manager as required and support other key projects to deliver GTR’s objectives.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong IT capability, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and asset systems such as RTS, Maximo, Asset-Pro, Genius-Trent, and TRUST.

Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and present findings clearly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strategic thinking, strong organisational skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.

Experience in train maintenance, cleaning, and servicing.

Knowledge of vandalism or graffiti management processes and railway security practices (advantageous).

Personal Track Safety certification preferred.
