What you’ll be doing

 

  • Identifying new business opportunities by recommending and shaping the pipeline based on market trends and white space. 
  • Focusing on early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, and possessing full sales cycle ownership
  • Building relationships, engaging with and influencing stakeholders in relevant verticals
  • Value proposition design – feeds insight to refine messaging for nurture campaigns based on buyer insight
  • Conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs
  • Identifying procurement routes and timelines, helping shape early positioning. 
  • Stakeholder engagement across the region or vertical, building net new relationships

What we would like to see on your CV

 

  • Significant experience in business development, particularly in the transport, manufacturing and retail industries
  • Track record of winning major acquisition business with corporate customers
  • Telco/ICT or technology sales industry experience is preferable 
  • Has experience in gaining access and building new relationships at executive level
  • Navigates ambiguous, early-stage opportunities

Flexible working

 

BT have moved to a hybrid working model – you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you’ll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
