About the role 

Southfields Care home, rated GOOD by CQC, provides exceptional levels of support to people living with dementia, physical disabilities or /and sensory impairments.

Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, Southfields offers a wonderful living environment in which residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of dementia care and residential care.  

With our great accommodation, facilities and programme of activities, our care home evokes a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.

 

About you 

With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal), you’ll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. 

You will contribute, as a senior member of staff, to the overall management and development of service provision, planning for the future development of services to meet the needs of customers from diverse cultural communities.

You will understand the Quality Commission (CQC) and to have good knowledge in all relevant legislation and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to residents.

You may be a Senior Carer who has stepped in to support your manager and is now looking for your next permanent move, or a current Shift Lead seeking to gain more experience and develop yourself for the future.  

We will offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks “Buddy scheme” too. We will settle you in, there’s no pressure to “hit the ground running”!

 

Unfortunately, this role does not meet the legal requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. 

 

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
