About the role 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Developer Funding Team, which is part of the Council’s wider Planning Service. We are looking for a Project Compliance Officer to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. Applicants who are interested in a secondment opportunity will also be considered, if appropriate. 

 

The Developer Funding Team comprises the Developer Funding Manager and two Developer Funding Finance and Monitoring Officers.

 

You will play an important role in working across teams and with partners to ensure that section 106-funded projects are delivered within the required specifications and timescales. The post will also record and maintain accurate evidence of project outcomes.

 

The office base is New Shire Hall in Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, with flexibility to work in alternative office locations, as well as working from home.

About you 

The following skills will be helpful in your role: 

  • ability to communicate with various stakeholders confidently and constructively, including negotiation skills , presentation skills and report writing skills
  • ability to use a range of IT systems including MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, and ability to use/learn new software, in particular section 106 or planning databases
  • ability to prioritise your workload and share work across the team
  • excellent attention to detail
