Description: We’re looking for a determined, creative and resilient individual to lead on securing sponsorship and external funding to support some of Cambridge’s most iconic cultural events, including the Cambridge Folk Festival, Cambridge Corn Exchange and Guildhalls programme, and the City Events programme.
You’ll take ownership of identifying and approaching potential sponsors and funders, developing proposals, and building meaningful partnerships that help sustain and grow these much-loved events. Working closely with event leads, the Audience Development Officer, the Creative Partnership team and others, you’ll also identify potential grant funders and lead on the development of successful bids.
As our in-house expert in fundraising and sponsorship, you’ll provide advice and support to managers and colleagues across the service, helping to shape our approach to partnership working and income generation.
You’ll bring experience in sponsorship, fundraising or partnership development, ideally within the arts, culture or events sectors. Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about community events in Cambridge and driven to make a real difference, helping ensure the city’s festivals and programmes continue to thrive and inspire for years to come.

Hours: 29.6 hours per week.

Salary: £37,280 – £41,771per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.
Location: Hybrid working between our Cambridge office (Parsons Court) and home.
