Lead the strategic direction of our vehicle finance and leasing portfolio in this key leadership role within Financial Services. You’ll drive commercial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding outcomes for customers and partners. Collaborating with senior stakeholders across Finance, Product, Risk, and Operations, you’ll shape propositions that are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our growth ambitions.
What will I be doing?
- Lead the full lifecycle of the Car Finance & Lease business, with accountability for P&L and performance insights.
- Define and deliver the strategic roadmap, aligned with Financial Services objectives.
- Collaborate with strategic partners and aggregators to optimise commercial outcomes.
- Shape pricing and risk strategies in partnership with Risk teams.
- Ensure strong governance and compliance with FCA regulations and TCF principles.
- Build and inspire a high-performing team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Represent the business externally with lessors, brokers, and regulatory bodies.
- Champion digital transformation to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven leadership in automotive finance, leasing, or Financial Services, with a track record of driving results
- Commercial expertise in pricing, funding, and risk management to shape strategic decisions
- Influential communicator with the ability to engage and inspire senior stakeholders
- Regulatory confidence, with deep knowledge of FCA guidelines, TCF, and Consumer Duty
- Experience with OEMs and fleet finance, bringing valuable industry insight
- Certified function holder under relevant financial regulations
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to planning and performance
- Strong negotiator, skilled in managing third-party partnerships and vendor relationships
- Inspirational leader, able to build high-performing teams and foster innovation
