Head of Pastry – Canary Wharf
£42,000 per annum
40 hours per week
We are looking for a Head of Pastry to join our culinary team based in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and organised pastry chef to lead a small, focused team delivering high-quality products across a range of outlets.
About the role:

Leading a team of two within the pastry section

Producing cakes, desserts, and baked goods for two coffee bars, a staff restaurant, and hospitality kitchens

Reporting into the Executive Head Chef and supporting with menu development

Managing and mentoring a Chef de Partie in pastry

Maintaining consistency, quality and excellent food presentation

Supporting innovation and seasonal menu planning
About you:
We are seeking a calm, friendly and highly organised chef who enjoys working closely with others and bringing creativity to the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have:

Strong experience in a professional pastry environment

A passion for innovation and delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods

The ability to lead and motivate a small team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with a salary of £42,000 per annum.
