The main purpose of this role is to undertake HR system administration tasks to ensure accurate and accessible HR information is maintained to meet the needs of Warwickshire Police.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To provide HR system administration support including creation of user accounts.
  2. To assist with the cleansing of the current HR system, in preparation for the migration of data into a new HR system.
  3. To input, maintain and generate HR reports and management information in a user-friendly format via HR database and other associated systems.
  4. To process in a timely manner, post changes and re-organisational updates within the HR System.
  5. To quality assure data so that it is accurate and is maintained in line with organisational and statutory requirements.
  6. To support the wider HR function with administering HR processes where HR systems records are involved.
  7. All members of the workforce are to comply with all Health and Safety regulations in accordance with the Warwickshire Police Health and Safety Policy.
  8. To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.

Person Specification:

Knowledge:

  • Grade A-C GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).

Experience:

  • Experience of working in an office environment.
  • Experience of Maintaining an HR Database.

Key Skills:

  • Proven ability to enter information accurately using appropriate IT systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver customer service within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage high process driven workloads in accordance with strict deadlines.
