Description: Stroud District Council is looking for a proactive and compassionate Independent Living Hub Facilitator to join our team on a temporary basis.
About the Role: You will support residents to maintain independence by delivering activities, providing guidance, and creating a welcoming, inclusive hub environment. You’ll also work with partners to connect people to services and opportunities within the local community.
This role covers 7 hubs across the Stroud District. Based at Ebley Mill, with regular travel to the independent living hubs.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate engaging activities and sessions
Provide information, advice, and signposting
Encourage resident involvement and independence
Build positive relationships with residents and partners
Support the day-to-day running of the hubs
About You
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience in a community or customer-facing role (desirable)
A flexible, positive, and person-centred approach
