This is the job

As our Internal Communications Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of how we engage and inform our Road Operations teams, including patrols, technicians, and Control Tower colleagues. You’ll help deliver clear, timely, and engaging communications that connect people to our strategy and support them in doing their jobs safely and confidently.

What will I be doing?

  • Managing the internal communications mailbox and coordinating content with stakeholders
  • Creating and maintaining targeted distribution lists
  • Planning, writing, and publishing operational messages across platforms like SharePoint, Poppulo, Viva Engage
  • Measuring communication effectiveness through analytics and feedback
  • Supporting campaigns and events that bring our strategy to life, such as awards, conferences, and roadshows
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure messaging is relevant, inclusive, and impactful

What do I need?

  • Experience in field-based, or operational environments
  • Understanding of how to tailor messages for diverse audiences
  • Passion for connecting people to purpose and strategy
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling ability
  • Experience engaging remote or frontline colleagues
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across different levels
  • Familiarity with tools like Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Poppulo, and Stream
  • Proven experience in internal communications or content creation
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable with a creative mindset
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced operational team
