Overview
Junior Analyst – 2026 Graduate Analyst Programme – London, United Kingdom
JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Programme
Newmark is building a Centre of Excellence for Analytics & Innovation at the heart of our business. This initiative will transform how we use data, technology, and insight across our service lines – from Capital Markets and Leasing to Business Rates, and Valuation.
As part of this vision, we are launching a Graduate Analyst Programme. The programme offers talented, tech-savvy graduates the opportunity to work across multiple departments, applying data and analytics skills to real client and business challenges. You will rotate between teams, gaining exposure to different areas of commercial real estate while developing advanced analytics capabilities.
You will report into the Analytics team but work directly with colleagues across the business, embedding best practice in Power BI, financial modelling, data visualisation, and workflow automation.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an initiative that is shaping the future of real estate services.
Why Join Us?
This is a chance to be part of something different – a new initiative at the intersection of data, technology, and real estate. You’ll gain exposure to multiple disciplines, learn from market leaders, and build a skillset that combines technical expertise with commercial insight.
Our ambition is for this programme to attract the brightest graduates and create a pipeline of future leaders who will drive innovation across Newmark UK.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious and curious graduate who is excited about combining real estate with technology and data. This role is as much about mindset as it is about technical skills – we want someone who will actively help embed a more innovative, data-driven culture across Newmark UK.
- Recently completed or due to complete a degree in a numerate, analytical, or technical discipline (e.g. Economics, Data Science, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, Geography).
- Strong analytical and IT skills, with some experience in Excel and a keen interest in Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar tools.
- A problem-solver with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical outputs.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Collaborative and adaptable – able to support different teams and projects across the firm.
- A growth mindset – eager to learn, explore new tools, and embrace feedback.
- Naturally curious and keen to explore, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to established processes.
- A positive disruptor, motivated to make things better and improve how we work, while respecting the firm’s culture and values.
- Comfortable with change and ambiguity, seeing it as an opportunity rather than a challenge.
- Patient and resilient when working with colleagues who may be less tech-savvy, helping build confidence and adoption across the firm.
- Acts as an ambassador for innovation, helping the firm embrace data and analytics as a core part of how we deliver for clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Role
As a Graduate Analyst, you will:
- Rotate across different departments (Capital Markets, Leasing, Business Rates, Valuation, etc.), supporting live projects and client mandates.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., in Power BI) to support client reporting, portfolio analytics, and internal performance tracking.
- Support teams with financial and operational modelling, ensuring outputs are clear, consistent, and client-ready.
- Enhance and automate data workflows, improving accuracy and efficiency across service lines.
- Conduct market and tenant analysis, combining internal data with external research sources.
- Assist in preparing presentations, client materials, and analytics outputs using modern visualisation techniques.
- Act as the champion and point of contact for your assigned team on our property intelligence, AI-ready database – helping them adopt, use, and maximise value from it.
- Participate in training, mentoring, and development sessions run by the Analytics team.
Training & Development
We are committed to developing our graduates into future leaders in real estate analytics. As part of the programme, you will:
- Complete monthly internal training courses, covering topics such as Power BI, financial modelling, data storytelling, coding for analytics, and applied real estate analytics.
- Receive mentorship and technical training from the Analytics team and senior colleagues across service lines.
- Be supported to undertake a professional qualification relevant to data and analytics
- Option to pursue chartered membership (e.g. RICS or CFA) if relevant to future career focus, with full support from Newmark.
Salary & benefits
- Salary: competitive based on market and professional experience
- 26 days’ holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays and extra days at Christmas and New Year
- Pension – We match your contributions up to 8% (after initial probationary period)
- Private Medical Insurance with Vitality
- 1 paid volunteering day per year to help give back to our local communities
- Performance related staff profit share scheme
- Wellbeing allowance which can be used for either physical or mental wellbeing activities
- Critical Illness Cover – Employee paid scheme offered at a competitive rate through Aviva
- Dental Insurance (self-funded) – access to employee-paid dental care at competitive rates
- Interest Free Season Ticket Loan
- Interest Free Rental Deposit Loan
- Group income protection scheme
Working hours
We offer great flexibility around our core hours, which are from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. You can choose to start and end your day around these hours, provided you still do your 7.25 hours per day (e.g. 8.00 am – 4.30pm, 10.00 am – 6.30 pm).
This position also involves out of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone; this can be discussed during the application process or upon commencement.
