Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic lecturer to for a position on our award winning BA (Hons) Graphic Design & Illustration programme within the Higher Education department at the University Centre South Essex. The post holder will need to have experience in this industry, with an emphasis towards creative image making and illustration both analogue and digital . You should have a High Grade degree in Illustration or related subject, and a Master’s degree in Illustration or related discipline is desirable. If you have excellent knowledge of creative image making and have a passion for sharing and passing on your skills and experience, then this may be the ideal post for you. You will ideally have specialist knowledge in relevant Industry software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, the use of social media and digital marketing within current industry practice in order to support delivery of a broad curriculum across levels 4, 5 and 6. A PGCE and teaching experience are also desirable, though not essential depending on other experience.
