About the role 

Huntingdon Accommodation Services, located in Huntingdon and Wyton, provides support to tenants with learning disabilities in a supported living environment.

We currently have two vacancies at our Huntingdon service, each for 35 hours on a night time rota.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team, working to empower adults with learning disabilities. Your role will involve enhancing their quality of life, maximising their potential, and promoting independence both at home and in the community.

About you 

You will be a caring, passionate and motivated person keen to make a difference and provide exceptional care and support. You will be able to empower individuals and recognise that each person is unique in their needs and choices.

You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and a good level of IT ability in order to complete risk assessments and update personal records. You will have a sensitive and a professional approach in managing your work and an understanding of equal opportunities, diversity and safeguarding. The role will involve the administration of medication, and the provision of personal care.
