Role Purpose

As a Fieldbased People Partner based on the South Coast, you will be the trusted People partner to a Senior Director (SD), supporting the delivery of the people agenda across a significant business area. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will provide both strategic and operational people support, ensuring people priorities are aligned to business objectives.

You will oversee the delivery of a wide range of People projects and activities, including business transformation programmes, operating model changes, organisation design, performance management, talent and succession planning initiatives. The role combines strong People partnering expertise with a practical understanding of change management, project delivery and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Director and leadership team to develop and deliver people plans that support business performance and strategic priorities.

  • Lead and support organisational design, operating model and change initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and colleague engagement.

  • Drive performance, talent and succession activities, supporting leaders to build high-performing teams and future capability.

  • Provide coaching, challenge and expert people advice to leaders on a range of people matters.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted and credible advisor.

  • Analyse people data, trends and management information to provide insight, identify risks and support informed decision-making.

  • Work collaboratively with People Services, Centres of Excellence and business leaders to deliver a seamless people experience.

  • Provide support on core HR activities, ensuring alignment with policy, process and employment legislation.

  • Champion continuous improvement, simplification and more effective ways of working across the People function and wider business.

  • Support leadership teams in driving the organisation’s culture, values and behaviours.
