Position Overview
The Construction Administrator provides administrative and project support to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects. Working closely with the Commercial, Technical and Construction teams. This role is essential in coordinating communication, managing documentation, and assisting project teams with day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.

What you will do

  • Project Documentation
    • Prepare, manage, and track project-related documents such as contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
    • Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital) for project documentation.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide clerical support including correspondence, scheduling, and calendar management for project managers and site teams.
    • Assist with onboarding and processing subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Financial & Procurement Support
    • Support the preparation of purchase orders, invoices, and payment applications.
    • Track budgets, expenses, and variations as directed by the project manager or Quantity Surveyor.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and consultants.
    • Schedule and organize project meetings, distribute agendas, and circulate minutes.
  • Compliance & Reporting
    • Ensure all health and safety documentation is properly filed and up to date.
    • Assist in preparing progress reports and compliance documentation for management and clients.

What you will have 

  • Experience in construction administration, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite Data Management and project management software (e.g., COINS, Viewpoint or simialr Document Hosting.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and documentation standards is an advantage.
