Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Business Central) to lead and deliver projects and small changes across our digital function. This is a contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality using Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid methodologies. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be working across IT, wider business teams and external partners to drive change and overcome resistance.
Ideally, we need someone in both the Wigan & Manchester office, 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects and small changes from requirements definition through to deployment
- Deliver change using appropriate methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
- Manage project resources, including third parties, balancing priorities across teams
- Build effective relationships and influence stakeholders to enable successful delivery
- Negotiate technical and commercial aspects with suppliers and partners
- Create and communicate project plans, and support best practice across the team
About You:
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle IT projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Technically aware (e.g. SDLC, infrastructure)
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and overcoming resistance to change
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Project, and Azure DevOps
- Able to manage budgets and report on progress effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Azure technologies
- Degree in Business, IT or related field is desirable
- Certifications in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, Lean/Six Sigma are ideal
