We have a fantastic opportunity for 2 enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers working a minimum of 40 hours per week (some of which will be unsocial) to join our team based at our Supported Housing Service in Croydon and Wembley on a permanent basis. Dorado is a housing service that provides housing and tenancy services for males with convictions. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £26,376 per annum and £4,425 PA London Weighting plus excellent benefits. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key work and support clients generally within your service, and act as the Key Worker to designated clients as required.
- Ensure clients meet their weekly MoJ purposeful activity requirements.
- Support the Housing Officer to facilitate monthly house meetings and encourage client attendance.
- Take an active role in the assessment and management of risk including the operation of physical and situational security measures to control the level of risk posed to all relevant parties and liaising with other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through assessment, planning, client knowledge and de-escalation as required.
- Work with the allocated Housing Officer to collate Intensive Housing Plans for clients and to implement support plans.
- Regularly utilise the Trust ‘Client File’ with designated clients to ensure that they are supported, empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes and this is documented in the ‘Client File’ on and Eclipse.
